    Guess again. It takes longer to build, still needs insulated in unconditioned spaces, has to rest on supports as compared to screwed with a strap (taking more time), cannot be transported as easily by the sheet, and takes longer to make the connections. Sheet metal is easier and costs me less yet I still use ductboard for the benefits.

    In response to a noise complaint my York dealer is recomending removing 6" metal in favor of flexible branch and fiber trunk. Is he nistaken?

    Ductboard and flex abosb noise better tehn metal.

    But if you have noise, its not just because its metal, its designed/sized wrong.
