Quick question
hello, im in school rite now and concerned what kind of back round/security checks will an employer do, and who would an employer not consider?

drivers,crimminal, background checks are standard others will depend on their contracts say airport work,research labs,testing facilities,banks and security firms.if your representing a company walking around doin service the customer has to know who you are? badges,sign ins,pass key cards to keep track of your movements..hospitals are big on the key card tracking

so thats basically the norm then, pretty routine.
how about residential? and what is their acceptance criteria.
is it basically a no-go for anyone with-out a clean record.

Around here, most will check back 10 years for DUI's and other driving offenses, as well as criminal background. Drug testing is the norm also. Sometimes, even an aquitted felony conviction can keep someone from getting a job. This is for residential and commercial in our area. Also, immigration status.

I can't honestly answer on the apprenticeship. Never belonged or applied to the union.
