Hello, I'm trying to learn more about burners and combustion, any good classes in the nj/pa/ny area, any good books out there?

you need to hit the little red triangle on that other thread and have a mod abort it

Alan is the man for pure combustion, particularly oil. Timmy McElwain is the man for gas combustion.

Dan and Siggy are the experts for steam (Dan) and hydronics (Siggy).

Google them. They all have books and manuals.

Also, I hope not to get myself in trouble, but heatinghelp.com is a forum that is almost exclusively oil, gas, hydronics, and steam. Lurk a while and see what you can pick up.

There are a lot of old oil and gas guys on there from New England (like me) that work on this stuff all day everyday.

    Happy learning.
