    residential HVAC is...

small potatoes. Homeowners can't provide a decent retirement. Unless one company monopolizes the industry.
There's to many scabs who screw up the oppritunity
for a well astablished biz to provide. Although I worked
for a 110 year old company that is cheap. Residential
HVAC isn't a big enough part of the industry to rake
in Big bucks. Give it up.

Talking now, that's funny! a good company!

    stop dreaming!
everybody's a number, thank corporate america
    and big govt.
    remember, when u vote ,,,
Theres a few good tomatoes in a batch of lemons and
sifting through the bad apples, is a job in itself!
I thought I was the only one , lol
if you want the work in residential,, do the pay research on
    wages and trends,,,,,states,counties,cities
There's great companies out there, they're just hard to find! Let me know when u find one?lol

what's politics have to do with it?

remember, when u vote ,,, yeah, ok, that'll do alot of good. No matter who's in office corporate America is Corporate America. Buisness is buisness. It's like seperating church and state.... seperate buisness from gov't.

    Lightbulb Business as usual!

youre right! business is business, and church and politics are what they are! no doubt about it!
    Economics derive from politics,,,
and Good to Great companies derive from Quality service!
    Not the other way around!
Customers are the reason why we are in the business we are in, that why its called service!
therefore, like what you do, and take pride in in what you do
and enjoy what you do, or leave the profession for something where youre content, or youre smart enough, to do something better, especially if youre unhappy!
Moreover,,,,When companies become more interested in the money/numbers, than the customers . Their quality of service, among their service techs, and customers become just a number to these companies, that orginated from quality service and valuable founding principles that once valued their customers by doing quality work!
Sorry for Offending you! My bad!
Corporate companies value numbers more than Customers, just ask their automated response phone system, they turn customers like they do tech's. Great companies value
customers and good techs, and the Good tech's value good companies with the customers!

    coldspot...

No offence taken.... I guess buisness in New Jersey is
worst place to find a good quality company. I only
worked for 1 company that was squared away. The only thing is is the owner doesn't care about his employees.

He has a very high turnover rate. They sent me to a
intermeddiate oil burner school and I told them that
I didn't pick up anything because I already learned it
in the field. But due to his stringent rules that's what I had to do. And on top of that his service men were few
so I was stuck doing oil burner tune ups. His deal was
do BTU's for a winter and cooling TU's for the summer before you do any service repair work.
Well the summer came and I was still doing BTU's, all
summer. Also alot of guys don't like working on oil.
Problem is I didn't want to take up the slack and not
    progress.
