TRANE SACA-403-B-SC
Does anyone know anything about this unit. All trane can tell me is that it is a 1988. and possibly a 4 ton but not 100% sure. They do not have any data for this unit. Any help would be appriciated.

Trane said 1988 because of the C. she said that was most likely 1988.

Yeah after 87 they used letters in the beginning, but the rest of the numbers don't make sense. I would thing that model would be from the 70s. The serial would be a number then a letter.

i can not find anything on a 'SACA-403'...i found a SACA-503...the 5 does indicate 5 ton.
i did find a catalog that shows...
S: Self Contained
A: DX cooling, no heat
C: Convertable
A: Development Sequence
40: 4 tons
3: 220/50/3...are you in Europe? The weak aren't destroyed by the strong.
The weak are destroyed by the under-estimated.
I know a famous song that ends in 'my nose'. The artist is dead. Know who?
