30 YR OLD INTERTHERM FURNACE WAS CHECKED OK 2 MONTHS AGO..THERMO COUPLE WAS REPLACED LAST YEAR(BIG DEAL!)

30 yrs. is a good life for a furnace, i wouldn't want to be paying your bills.

alot can happen to a 30 yr.old furnace in 2 months,kind of like a 90 year old person, you just never know.

i'd recommend calling a tech back out. hopefully it's something inexpensive to fix, but you should consider getting an estimate for a newer higher efficient model.

Miller (Nordyne) has a 90+ furnace now on the market.
Even if you stick with the 80% mobile home furnaces you will most likely need to have the roofjack and the furnace base replaced when the furnace is changed out. Did whoever you had in your home, check the heat exchanger thoroughly for cracks/pitting?
