That part is even available on e-bay for $12 though I suspect my new rep can get it easier.

Final followup. The fuse probably blew 3 years ago when the unit was first turned onand no one noticed. It is an inline fuse one the hot leg of the OD units transformer. Should have been disconnected anyway at install.
The problem was not the fuse (it just threw us off sice it was blown), it was the contactor for the compressor. One of its Its contacts had burned up.
