Questions to ask an interviewer?
Im going to be having an interview with a manager from honeywell one evening this week. I ve really only had 2 interviews in my life and both were with small companies. Ive got it pretty well down for the questions they will ask me. BUt in my last interview at the end the employer asked well do you have any questions for me and i just froze up kinda and said no. I dont want to be to pushy obviously but i think you should atleast have 2 or 3 for them.

IMO it's all about what they want to hear. You can get something in like asking about advancement through the company and or do some research about the company and ask a question that you already know the answer to. But I would be prepared to ask questions. It will show you are prepared or can think on the fly. Make them positive and maybe open ended to give them a chance to expand on. Don't ask about pay or benefits. Even though you really should, again imo.

Ask about the history of the business. Add a dash of what you know. Ask about the chain of command, who will i be reporting to?. Do not ask about benefits or compensation.

Ask him why the TruSteam is such a P.O.C and what they are doing about the UV light issue.

I had an interview several months ago and tripped up the manager pretty good when I asked him, "What is your background and how did you come to this company?"
Always good to know what you might be getting into with a supervisor also

Thats a good question. Would have saved some grief with my boss. If I had of known the only things he ever worked on was chillers and hvac. He had no knowledge of refrigeration controls or terms. I was wondering why I got a blank stare when I told him the system had black oil in system. Then he told me to put the compressor in any way. At the time he did not understand that a small reachin with a compressor burn out was most likely not worth trying to clean up.
