    Hmm

I have a high efficiency furnace installed in 1988. I have noticed that there are times that it will also 'blow' for about 5-10 seconds when it is still at the temp required.

Does this explain it well...hope so

    What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance for your timely response!

    Unhappy

    Not sure what your saying..sorry.

    set to 69

Kicks in at 67 to heat to 69 - so far so good

sometimes app. 5 minutes after turning off furnace will 'only' try to blow heat for whatever reason for 5-10 seconds.

This started recently...cannot be good, correct?

    time to have it service
more then likely the fan limit is picking up residual heat from the heat exchanger and needs to be ajusted.

it is in your best interest to have it service and set up for the best operation posible
