    Anyone else??

Anyone else ready to retire a/c season for snow skiing? Any of you guys run a helmet cam? I'm hoping to go on 3 trips this winter to CO and UT.

I wasn't necessarily thinking of retiring, but ready for the grueling ac season to be over in favor for ski season!! I'm not nearly as busy in the winter so it's a nice and welcomed break.

I'm ready, tired of this record heat wave. Some of my favs: Breckenridge, Vail, Keystone, Copper Mountain, Angel fire, Taos, White Pass and Whistler/Blackcomb. Gonna try to hit 3 or 4 this winter if the snow is good. I tried skiing in the East but it just ain't the same as the Rockies.
The picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

    Thumbs up

Since you have been to Whistler you would like lots of others in the NW. There are tons in southern BC and Alberta as well. NE WA, N Idaho and NW Montana are lousy with awesome ski resorts. I think the lowest snow % in our area last year was 155% of normal. There were many areas with 200%+ of normal. They were open past spring break. Mt Bachelor in OR is open year round I believe if you like summer skiing. Break out the skis. Here we go again real soon.
