ASCII codes
How come they don't work on this site and is there a work-a-round?
TIAThe picture in my avatar is of the Houston Ship Channel and was taken from my backyard. I like to sit outside and slap mosquitos while watching countless supertankers, barges and cargo ships of every shape and size carry all sorts of deadly toxins to and fro. It's really beautiful at times.....just don't eat the three eyed fish....

I made a little text file to keep some handy ASCII symbols to cut and paste.
°F °C © ® Δ √ ∑ ∞
ñ Ø ± ≠ ≤ ≥ µ ¢
² ³ ⁿ (exponents)
2 1 (Subscripts)
Hold the Alt key down and type in 248 and release. ° (this is the degree symbol)
Hold Alt key down and experiment for other symbols:
☺☻♥♦♣♠•◘○◙ (1 through 10)"I have never let my schooling interfere with my education."
