We use Taco Threaded flows and use copper male adaptors to connect to system. We have a lot of corrosion and leaks at this fitting. Is the proper installation or is there a particlular piping sealing compond we should be using. Thanks.

I use a fitting brush and clean the threads of the flo check, I also use teflon tape and pipe dope. No problems with leaks or corrosion.

I always use teflon tape and then a little rectorseal when threading dissimilar metals. Hard water and electrolisis cause corrosion if no teflon is used.
I hate to see when installers work turns to crap in a matter of months. With leaks everywhere black iron meets copper.
You're a good man Beenthere.
