    York/Coleman Inverter Heat Pump

    A little birdie told me that York is unveiling a new variable inverter heat pump in a couple of months. Does anyone have any info on this?

    i've not heard about a variable "inverter" heat pump, but I do know that Bristol released a variable speed hermetic compressor last year.The application of which could fit, but I can't figure out the benefit of a can compressor over a variable speed inverter type scroll compressor. Maybe its cost.
