does anyone know how a tempstar or whilpool proves flame without a flame sensor. My boss and I have a bet, help me out
Does it have a local sense HSI. Or maybe it has a radient sensor. My oven uses an amp draw. I don't know
Beware of advice given by some guy on the Internet.
Wow what on open-ended question...
Whirlpool was the old company that got gobbled up...
Then became part of ICP which produces equipment under several names, one being Tempstar.
Then the problem comes into play as Tempstar has had several design changes in several years.
So just which furnace would we be talking about? Got a model number?
