    HVAC Load-Calc app by Powertrade

I just downloaded this app from the Android Marketplace. I've done a load calculation already and it took a little getting used to on adding loads. Commercial Calc for the desktop was much easier, but I do like the addition of partition walls on this app.

Do any of you that have used it have any tips?

I used it and it came out to be close to the same load calc I did in wrightsoft. So it's not bad. It's just a pain in the a$$ to use on a little phone. I guess it could be cool on a tablet but I would just get the wrightsoft mobile consultant.

I gotta try this out. Is "HVAC Load-Calc app by Powertrade" the exact name?

I haven't gotten the program yet. But let me ask you something. After you do a load calculation, can it be printed out? How detail of information does this give? Will it give also the cfm required for each room or area?

    thanks

You can email the report and then it can be printed out. It has graphs also. If you do a room calc it does give the cfm per room. I have a block calc done. I will try and upload here.

Looking for more info (too). I hate to drop $40.00 on it if its junk. Printing is Necessary!

    Anyone?

Thanks JD. Your post showed while I was pecking!

Looking closer, it looks pretty good and all the ratings are excellent.

    I have a Vizio Tablet that's Android.

I did a room load calc for the same job and it came out to 28000 BTU roughly. Its stored on the tablet at home.

I did email the developer and they are looking at developing cloud storage to store project files.
