My apologies! The question was a little vague, as is your profile!!! The dupont piping manual us a great resource as is the trane reciprocating refrigeration manual!!!

its ok. i know. anyways. thanks. I did apply for pro membership as well. What is the correct wall to pipe in a multiple evap system with compressor /unloading with the evaporators and compressor level with each other? I read about double suction risers but that doesnt apply in this application. Thoughts?

If the condensing unit us at the sane level as the evaps then risers are not a concern. You would need to size the main pipe run for the total capacity of the system, and each run to the evaps for their total capacity. Keeping in mind that the branch runs from the main run to each evap is sized for that's evaps capacity, and should be of equal length to maintain balanced refrigerant flow.

You would become concerned about risers if you have an elevation change of +15' or more. All this info in available in the dupont piping hand book or the trane manual I mentioned earlier.

For refrigeration piping books you can take guidance of refrigeration experts instead of using book guidance or find out on internet ,yellow pages as well.

You know the old Tyler case spec book is a great resource for proper piping tequniques as well as the old Hussmann book. We use to recieve a new one or two with every new rack system we installed.
