    nut driver search

Does anybody know of a good magnetic nut-driver that has a lifetime warranty?

    I don't like the Malco's.... so far I think I like the Klien's

I use the kleins everyday and never had any problems with them, lil pricey but worth it.

    Ditto on the Kleins.

I usually lose mine before they wear out.

    Smile nutdrivers

I have Malco and Klein that i've used a long time but now I use the Slidedriver most of the time.It is a quality tool and it is both 1/4 and 5/16.The magnet is better than the others. They come in 10'' 7'' and 3''. The only bad part is the price $23.00 no matter which one you choose.I think You would be happy with one

Actually, I like the Malco's and don't like the Klein's. The Malco's seem to last years for me, but the Klein's last about 6 months before the end strips out.
I rarely use hand held nut drivers anymore though. Got the mini impact with snap extension. Why work harder when you don't have to???

I have a 45 year old Miller's Falls that I can't wear out. They had good metal back then. 1/4 incher

When your nut driver wears out, just grind the face down a bit. They seem to wear out only at the ends. I chuck mine in a lathe and take a cut or two.

Because they are made so damn cheap now, I use a phillips or flathead screw driver. Less torque.

I used to wear out the malco 5/16 every 6 months, switched to Klein a year and a half ago, still going strong. No sign of wear on the tips.

I will wear my tool out before I lose it.... Whether its Snap-on, Klein, or Malco...

Will Klein give you a new tool if the tip wears out?? I wish there was more selection out there for magnetic nut drivers... I prefer Snap-on, but they don't do magnetic ones.

    Klein
    1/4, 5/16 & 3/8
    Last forever
Use them everyday, but thank God I no longer have to on cabinets. Some of these RTU's are ridiculous.
