HVAC FAN (FOR SHOP USE)

Have any of you guys used one these fans for shop use? I have seen some used before I just don't know if people are using them on 220v or 110v. This is a 220v. Don't know what size unit it come off.

i have used one in attics while doing installs if you are going to make a blower out of it screw 1/4 hardware wire on all openings to prevent injury to yourself or others and all electrical needs to be in a metal box with a cover

Use them all the time. You'll need to block about 1/3 of the supply opening to create a load.

This is exactly what I've done with the old blower fans. They run on 120 volts just fine. I add a switch and receptacle on top of the fan as well, very handy.
