    contactor wiring issue

    replaced contactor that had t-3 terminal and new one doesn't where does that wire go

    When doing a do it yourself project you need to know how to do it yourself . Sounds like you might have the wrong replacement part

    Why are you asking questions about a commercial piece of equitment, in the residential section?

    Some places have 3 phase in the older residential areas

    Never seen a residential home with 3 phase.

    Come visit me. All 3 phases except few houses from the 30's to 40's

    I've seen it in 2 completely different residential areas here in Austin. One is very old and expensive neighborhood. Think pre depression era. The other in a 20 year old neighborhood. And not every house in either one. We have customers in both of them. Kinda a shocker first time I saw it.
    I like DIY'ers. They pay better to fix.

    Hmm, something happen in the late 30's, 40's?

    I think the US was still building homes during the war, granted you all were getting away from the soviets.
