    Post Motivated Learner

I want to first thank all for having me. I am very grateful for the time that you guys have taken to post information on this site that will help me to educate myself in HVAC.
I spend around 8 hours a day reading and have never "twittered" or "facebooked". My passion is for technical information.
I am middle aged and have worked in Electrical Contracting most of my life. Apprentice to Forman to Project Engineer/CAD Drafter.
I was employed with Johnson Controls for 4 years and have a decent understanding about control systems.
I am now a Building Engineer (again) and have done many repairs on HVAC on the controls, but now am gearing up for the refrigerant side of it.
My present facility has split and package units.(R-22)
I have manifold gauges and am getting ready to purchase all the tools for recovery, diagnostics and charging.

It's a challenge to read through all the posts to acquire the information that one is after. But I look forward to reading everything I can on this site.
    Thanks again

P.S. I live in Az where temperatures reach 122F

    you're not in kansas anymore................

might want to check tech schools for some formal education, there's only so

much that can go wrong chasing sparks, there's plenty that can/will go wrong

that you have to determine the cause.
It`s better to be silent and thought the fool; than speak and remove all doubt.
