Loud Rumbling Noise in Home
Hi All,
Recently my home has started making loud rumbling noise like those from an engine. It isn't from my AC unit but I have no idea where this noise is coming from. Can anyone help me identify this noise?
Thanks

I cant hear it from here...
Need more info.
In the crawl space? Attic or where??
Is it water flow?? or only when the furnace is running?
Furnaces can make sounds when "off"
Check your thermostat and confirm the fan is set to auto and NOT ON!!
florecssnt light fixture??
What room is the sound strongest ?
OK find your broom handle or one of those painter handle extensions.. Use it like a hearing aid.. Put one end over the button of your ear and
go wherever the furnace is. Put one end on the sheet metal.
Is it louder?? This really works...
Go to a light fixture and hold it on the housing.. Does it hum louder??
write back what you find...
Is it your outside AC unit??
Maybe your cable box is one and the TV on and humming but the screen is dark.....[channel confusion]
