This customer got a credit on her EPP from the power co. this year. Just her in the house and yes the equip. is old and no safety pan on attic AH but they last for ever. The box with the light on it is how you put the systems in emer. heat. was not avail. on stats then. OD units have OD stats for elec. heat too. . . . . . . .

Thats a GE BWA condenser with a BWE air handler. Installed lots of them . OD stats got set according to balance point of the BTU loss of the dwelling.

the old heat pump condenser was long and had 2 squirrel cage fans that were belt driven. I installed the one pictured 25yrs. ago.

Yep. Climatuff compressor to. I ripped one out about 2 years ago that I installed in 70. Still running EER about 6. Don't remember what the COP was. Had about a zillion LV wires.

When you lay them down they don't get trach in the 1/4" fittings where the hose ends go.

25 or so yrs. ago manifold sets had an L shaped metal bracket on the front with the 1/4" male flair ends pointing down. Just swap the guages when you get a new manifold set.
