Can I use the Trane Eware program to communicate with Thermostat Module board in Trane FCB's serial #'s 1999. The Operation and Maintenance manuals says you need the Rover Tool. If Eware program will work, where do I connect on pc board with my alligator clips. The units are all stand alone and have no other controls other than zone sensor with 3 speed fan control and EWT sensors.

    Thanks ROC

    Unhappy Waiting for some reply.

Did I say something wrong in my above post? Did all of the Trane techs leave this site? Surely someone must be able to offer me an answer yes or no. I'm not a homeowner looking for where to buy the cheapest unit. I'm an HVAC mechanic and a grunt that's been in the field over thirty years. What's up?

    Thanks in advance. ROC

Thumbs up Thank you... more info

Trane makes the UniTrane Fan-Coil Room Air conditioner. They are small CHW/HW low vertical fan coil units, that are normally found in schools. Cabient stlye Model B. The IOM manual is UNT-IOM-5. They use a Thermostat Module Board that has default setpoints unless you use a local setpoint switch to control the unit's fan and motorized valve. The entire Model Number is FCBB0601JLOEHIDAC2M S/N: T99F97247. Can I communicate with them using Eware software program?

You might try posting this question on the controls board. It would fit better there.
