    Totally agree with getting a new #. I'm a proctor at the local hall for the exam and i have the old way they gave out #'s. The state I'm in now in addition to the feds want all epa #'s from the guys at work, this sure seems redundant to me. My original card was issued by the feds, so why is the state now stickin thier nose in it? What other hoops are on the way that i'll have to jump thru? I'm fighting this with the office and will just take the exam again and be issued a new number, but what is to come is a wonder, just thinkin out load

    call your congressman, and tell them your worried about ID theft!

    good idea.

    I've sent my congressman 2 e-mails in the last 6 months, and to my surprise he answered them

    I e-mail Mainstream to see what they say first.

    Mainstream responded to my e-mail and for $19 they are going to issue me a new card with a new number without my ss in it.
