I don't think it was meant towards Jerry's Kids. Maybe "government bailout" would have been a better term. Either way, I thought it dripped with sarcasm, which I felt went along well with the intent of that part of my original rant....

Klove and Jayguy, I know it was meant in fun. It was taken that way. I didn't mean to come across as thin-skinned or offended. I thought it (the telethon for Klove comment) was funny and I really was grinning when I posted that. When I saw the word "telethon", I just thought of the MDA telethons that Jerry Lewis used to host. I did not intend to put words into anyone's mouth. I hope we're all good. As far as I'm concerned we are By the way, Jack (my stepson) has an excellent sense of humor and I'm sure he would be laughing at this, too.

I want both of you to know that I'm deeply hurt, terribly distressed, and more than likely irreparably damaged because of the blatant political incorrectness and the overwhelming amount of insensitivity that was shown by all who participated in this little melodrama. The shame of it all!!! I think I'm just gonna go out back an' eat worms an' die!!!............

Wanna see some real comedy?? Go to the job discussion section. There's more hurt feelings there than Carters got little pills..........

Stumbled across the site and found this thread... hit home a bit. did my whole apprenticeship at york + 3 years as a jm before jci ruined it, still holding on for some unknown reason. still bleed carribbean blue i guess.

I never thought of ever leaving york, I woke up every morning happy to go to work. I think about leaving jci daily, dont care to go in to work majority of the time.

most of the sales team went to mcquay, i dont think there is anyone in the sales office that now knows what a centrifugal chiller is.

Yep we had a picture of that in our office to. I did enjoy taking pictures of some of JCI's workmanship after they took over gave it to the Supervisor and
he would tape it to the wall for the managers to see opps !
