    Episode 3 (Star Wars)

Had an emergency changeout today. Another company condemned the original furnace. But couldn't give the customer price until Monday. Went and bid it yesterday, installed it today(sunday). Nice easy counterflow replacement, everything went smooth. Take a look.

Sorry no before pics, I keep forgetting to grab the camera til after I start. Maybe the next one!

Looks good from here. Can you glue those hangers to the pipe? Got your front service clearance?

Hanger isn't glued. Service clearance is there, will only get better though, homeowners are going to install a Ranai water heater in January. Thanks for the comment!

Looks good from here, But I definately woulda changed that gas cock out, that things old. And I put a bead of aluminum or clear silicone on the duct connections, I hate that metal tape. JMO

What is that between the furnace and floor?

Metal tape cuts easier for the next time around...
Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss Poor Performance

"There is hardly anything in the world that some man cannot make a little worse and sell a little cheaper, and the people who consider price only are this man's lawful prey. It's unwise to pay too little.
When you pay too much, you lose a little money -- that is all. When you pay too little, you may lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.

The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot -- it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better."
