    Episode 3 (Star Wars)

    Had an emergency changeout today. Another company condemned the original furnace. But couldn't give the customer price until Monday. Went and bid it yesterday, installed it today(sunday). Nice easy counterflow replacement, everything went smooth. Take a look.

    Sorry no before pics, I keep forgetting to grab the camera til after I start. Maybe the next one!

    Looks good from here. Can you glue those hangers to the pipe? Got your front service clearance?

    Hanger isn't glued. Service clearance is there, will only get better though, homeowners are going to install a Ranai water heater in January. Thanks for the comment!

    i get jealous when i see nice flue pipe like that...our inspectors make us use purple primer...really knocks an install down a peg...very neat.

    Looks good from here, But I definately woulda changed that gas cock out, that things old. And I put a bead of aluminum or clear silicone on the duct connections, I hate that metal tape. JMO

    What is that between the furnace and floor?

    That would be a subbase.

    I dont like the look of silcone, so I guess to each their own!
