Before and after videos of Sky Heating installs

We just setup a YouTube channel recently and started with just basic video testimonials and are now working on before and after videos. Please tell me what you think of our videos! We also put up a few product reviews and plan to continue this.

Great videos. On crane lifts you need to wear hard hats. Gloves and safety glasses are also a good idea.

I actually learned this from Ballard Natural Gas Services President Neil Kappen at a class he tought. I learned the video editing(although it is very poor). Everything was shot with an iPad two in HD Mode. I shot the videos then removed the audio and had the customers talk into the iPad after I introduce them and put the audio over the edited videos I shot. I will have a new before and after of an air handler and XL16i heat pump that should be up by noon PST.

Thanks everybody for the comments, it means a lot comming from an HVAC community and not just the homeowner. Please feel free to post comments on the video.

The Rtec stuff was put on by the homeowner, if you watch the hole video you will see we removed it and replaced it with Vinyl Back insulation(about an R10 if I remember correctly)

wasn't being critical just wondering, every part of the country seems to have different ideas on insulation and such.

that white stuff is the insulation? by me we have duct wrap r-4/6/8/ or bubble wrap r-4/6 with spacers! where do you get that vinyl ins. and do you also use in attics? is it itchy? easy to work with, thanks!

The guys love working with it and yes we use it in attics here but we are very low humidity and a heating dominated climate so the R11 value helps on that end. Yes it is itchy but having the white wrap on the outside makes it easy to not touch the insulation. We will occasionaly use a drive to hold it in place and it wraps nice and tight. Watch the Don N Testimonial video and you can see more of the white vinyl wrap on attic ductwork attached to a honeywell F500 HEPA filter and Lifebreath ERV.
