Thread: combination box

    hi everyone..

    i have been in field for a few years.. i am trying to find a illustrtation on how to wire a single pole switch and an electrical outlet ( combination box )... i can wire single poles etc ,, they are quit easy.. but get confused on jumping wires etc ..

    Anyone no where i might see an illusrtation or pictures..

    L1 (black) comes into line side of switch. If you have a combination with outlet jump black from L1 to one side of the recptacle and jump white (neutral to the other side of the receptacle. Depending on what side of the switch you take power off of will determine whether the receptacle is constantly powered or controlled by the single pole switch. Really just pretty basic circuitry.

    This is for 115 volt circuit.
