    MP 39 (401a) @ those same pressures would be 160psig = 108* & 20psig = 20*
    MP 39 is a good refrigerant. And 409 is to expensive.

    ya, when I bought the last jug of 409, i had to change my underwear. Thank you all for the help. this site is more addictive that craigslist. lol

    well, got a handle on it....pumped out 409, receiver capacity was 5.25# and i pulled out 8.5 #'s, new filter dryer and sight glass. pulled a good vac on it put in a hair over 4 1/2 lbs of mp39 and bubbles disappeared. set expansion valve at 11.5* super heat. pulled down box to 34* happy tap beer! thank you for the input
