    Yes...accessibility is required. The Ten year damper warranty does not imply that they NEVER fail, just very rarely. It's typically the ones you bury above drywall that end up with an issue and then the HO wants someone to pay for the drywall work. If you end up having to conceal them...map it out and spell it out. Our warranty does not cover drywall removal or repair.

    What does "hack up the supplies mean"?

    Arzel makes dampers that slide into the supply runs, and there's nothing wrong with it.
    In fact, the majority of times, you have to have indivual dampers for each run, because not all the runs on that trunk serve a particular zone.

    they were going to put the arzel dampers into the supply runs but they were going to feed another vent off an existing run
