    somebody please fill me in on Goodman being derated so far when converted to LP??? example a 115,000 puts out 93,000 btu and a 70,000 btu puts out 55,000 btu..... why so low? I'm guessin to help out the longevity of the heat exchanger?
    just curious.

    Just the difference in the properties of the gases. There is no "derating", that's just what the rating is.

    but even the old Goodmans didn't drop that far.

    Dunno...maybe LP is not as good as it used to be

    Or, the difference is in the inshot burners. Are any other brands any different?
