    i have a heil heat pump with the original ranco e15 defrost control which is bad should i replace it with the original defrost control or would it be better in put in a icm315 electronic defrost board

    The 315 replaces many different defrost boards, so if its list to replace the e15, it makes no difference.

    Why are you sure its the defrost board.

    yes im sure thats the problem i just found the original ranco e15 and the icm315 for approx. the same price so i wanted to know which one would work better for me

    I prefer oem when ever possible.
