One the boys were finishing up today. I stopped by and saw they had a lot to do and helped. I did the drains, pump & wiring. I took the furnace picture before he got the intake done. Little ranch on a full basement. Didn't need a 75K but that's what he called for.




For the money, these little guys are great. Built like a tank & quiet (10 SEER anyway).



No before picture but if that heat exchanger gives a clue, that was one MONSTER lowboy oil relic they took out!



Scott just loves seeing his name on people's walls. We've got HUNDREDS out there, complaints are very rare! Everyone ought to do that!

Very good looking job. I love those Weatherking condensers. I just put 2 in at my house this past year. I havent seen a air cleaner that could be tapped from the top like that before. What kinda legs do you put on that furnace? Here, the only weatherking we can buy is 80 plus & 10 seer. Thats fixin to change after the first though.

That is a "Right Angle" Air Bear from Trion. Combines return air drop and 20x25 media cleaner in 1. Since most furnace openings are about 16" high, the 20x25 sitting beside them don't fully clean. Since the media is in at an angle inside the thing, all area gets airflow. Those feet are like on an appliance for easy leveling since so many old basement floors aren't!

From what I hear, 13 SEER Kings won't be that pricey. And with Benchmark comps, won't be noisy either.

I agree about paying a little extra to get your name on the thermostat. It looks professional, and the customer knows who to call.

The only "pick away" item is the location of the outdoor disconnect.
I'd have rather seen it beside, rather than behind.

Cuz they cost $20 and Junior doesn't like to use them though the installers say that's made up in not cutting 2 holes in the roof or knocking 2 holes in the block wall
