2. what are the two most common types of refrigerants used in A/C today?
A methyl chloride

These were sample questions on my review sheet that I haven't found the answers too. If you know the answers it would help greatly.

1. A, B, D, E
2. Freon is a trademark. R12 isn't very common, obviously R22. Ammonia may be common in some heavy refrigeration but not A/C.

HVAC journeyman, but my experience is in construction and most of these review questions are in service.

Thats bull, those questions aren't on a journeymans test.
And there is no renewal.

Your profile says you are an HVAC coordinator. What license is required to perform that work? You aren't trying to pull our leg and get answers for some other reason are you?

I'm not pulling anyones leg, my license is not current, and i have to take the test to renew it. these are questions that are on the review sheet, but i hadden been able to fire the answer. i thought this would be a good place to try, with everyone's experience.

must be an outdated test.......on the second question... 12 and 22 would be most likely correct...but on the first one....it would have to be a combination of answers...not one single answer would be correct in a correctly operating clean burning system. If I had to pick one I would say orifices...
