Lusker asked: “What percent of sales are due to” cost factors as compared to sales through professionalism and the equipment brand sold.

Incorporate within that question: “What percent of sales are due to” advertising and other promotions as compared to the differential of equipment performance and durability.

I am wondering why you want to view my HVAC Web pages.
I have many pages; it takes time and effort to get to all the links at the bottom of the various pages.

    Here is one link:

    http://www.udarrell.com/air-conditio...city-seer.html

Here are some PDF chart specifics on Superheat charging and temperature split for airflow, etc.

    http://www.wifocusonenergy.com/data/...t%20Tables.pdf

The absolute first thing to be done is, --an accurate evaluation of the insulation and air infiltration rate so the heat-gain and heat-loss can be minimized. "Energy Conservation ought to be a contractor’s motto."

Then, air flow ESP and SP drops along with airflow-hood testing should be done, --before the charging and temperature tests are used.

A proper, balanced heatload through all the evaporator circuits must be achieved before an accurate charge and Btuh performance can be achieved. - Darrell
