I just moved from Anchorage to Portland. After much trial and error I found setback from 68F to 55F to suit my system in Anchorage. What factors should I consider in determining a night setback amount from 68F in Portland. It's a Trane XV 80 system about 5 or 6 years old, and we all know where the price of gas is headed..

try different settings to get how you want it. the cooler you can comfortably run setback periods the greater the savings.
