Pool heaters

Never have worked on a pool heater before ... so was wondering if they are pretty much a glorified water heater tank ? Do they lite the same way ... hsi, pilot.. etc. Any tip s or info would be of help. ty in advance.

They are like a specialized boiler, with a smaller HX, usually a copper or brass pass through kind. The principle is the same but the parts are very specific, you won't likely find them at an hvac supply house. You will probably need to get them from a pool type place. They ain't cheap either.........have fun.
