I have a 4000 square foot house with an oversized wood-burning fireplace. Based on the excellent advice received here, I am installing a carrier MVP furnace, TXA air conditioner, Infinity stat, and separate humidifier. An HRV is required by code, but the ductwork is not specialized for a full HRV system. The (partial) HRV that the sub-contractor has recommended is the Lifebreath 300 DCS. Any advice on this brand of HRV, or partial HRVs in general, would be appreciated.

Where do you live? Suggest make-up air ventilation for a large wood burning fireplace to avoid back-drafting when the clothes drier, kitchen exhaust hood, and other exhaust appliance operate.
