    Look this up on the net, it's a load calc program from Natural Resources Canada equivalent to a Manual J and it has US weather data. Did I mention it's free.

    I played with it - it's not really for load calcs.

    Hot 2000 is used to simulate energy consumption and calculate the canadian energuide rating of houses.
    General public's attitude towards our energy predicament: "I reject the reality of finite resource depletion and substitute it with my own; energy is infinite, we just need an alternative storage medium to run the cars on. The economy can grow indefinitely - we just need to "green" everything! Technology is energy! Peak what?"
