I write detailed invoices on every job, fill out EPA paperwork on every usage and do twice annual inventory.

Sorta...
We have recorded total entrained charge and we assist the customers in monitoring leaks rates and keeping leak rates low.
Our largest customer has one of the lowest total leak rates of any supermarket chain in the country at around 6% of total entrained charge.

So if i understand you correctly your total entrained charge is for all racks.
I read were EPA is pushing for lower leak rates. At 6% i don't see that being a problem for you.

Don't much care what the EPA does.
We'll find a way to comply.

I participated in a nationwide leak rate survey of supermarket chains conducted by the Food Marketing Institute (FMI) back around 1987. As I recall we were at about 31% for 65 stores and the national average was 35%.
Strangely, I think I read recently the average today is still up around 35%. Is that true, or am I having those flashback attacks again?

35% sounds like a lot of lost money for 50 pounds or more systems.

So is this leak rate per year?
So at 35% leak rate a 100 lb. system would lose 35 lb a year?! Or am I not understanding this?
