    w/i

    hi guys i have a celment w/i box i got there found temp @51f gas mp 39 water cool head was225psi back 27 i adjusted water reg to 175 had to water reg valve because it was laeking thru recoved freon charge drier recharge with 134 water temp going in 67 out 77 temp 43 box size 14x7x9 ht will be checking tomorrow have to get temp to 40 thanks phil

    You changed to 134 from mp 39...... Did you change oil also?

    Unless you already have ester oil in it

    27 pounds suction is pushing 30 degrees evap.


    Going to have a hard time maintaining a cold box that way.

    Head pressure seems a shade high to me, too, but I didn't look it up.

    When my customers call I always hear

    " my walk in is warm.....I think it just needs FREON"


    I also hate the term FREON. Maybe I am just being picky. When my guys say it I always correct them and say "refrigerant". Freon is just a brand by good ol dupont. Had to vent cause I remember this topic came up at work this past week

    when i get a call like that i tell them to hold the phone up to the unit and then proceed to tell them can't fix it they need a new one!

    first darn thing to pop in my head ... im not a 134a fan lol so that be the last thing id be looking to put it lol

    OK Phil we need a lot more information:

    Mod # of compressor, Sr # would help also

    Superheat at evap and comp is needed.

    Evap and x-valve #’S

    If you give us the #’s we need then maybe you’ll get the information you need.
