    Question

i want to change the thermostat for my heat pump/gas furnace.
i heard that i can only replace it by another Rheem thermostat but i like the Honeywell TH8320.
Can someone confirm or deny the information i got?

    Thank you for your help.

    P.S. I am a beginner at the Do-it-yourself thing.

The TH8320 will work. Needs to be set up properly. Maybe your friendly neighborhood heating dealer will sell you one and set it up for you with tips on wiring. Beyond that, we can't help you wire it.
