    Any recommendations on where to find a thermostat with large clear readout, backlit, that would be helpful for elderly homeowners to see. Simple is best -- heat only, sinlge stage, night setback, on in AM. No need for bells and whistles -- just a nice big number and a couple of up/down buttons.

    Check out some of the Honeywell stats, huge display and simple as all get out. I believe they are the 5000 series, but don't quote me on that, honeywell.com and check it out.

    Honeywell TH5110D1022 - Single stage heat/cool, non-programmable, extra-large screen. The TH5110D1006 DOES NOT have the extra large screen, so be careful when ordering.
