It would probably be easiest if you lay it down...most furnaces nowadays are around 40" tall, you might be able to jump a Rheem or Carrier 80% vertically...

Sometimes yah have to pole vault, those older ones were too high to hurdle

i think he means "jump"er. i would take all of the wires in the furnace and splice them together, you will need a big wire nut. turn off the power before you splice, you don't wanna blow the fuse.

He might be some other kind of tech.
Maybe some kind of computer tech, or surgical tech, or fast food tech.
