How do you jump a furnace without a thermostat?

It would probably be easiest if you lay it down...most furnaces nowadays are around 40" tall, you might be able to jump a Rheem or Carrier 80% vertically...

first, furnace is a vague term.

wood, coal, pellet, corn, gas, oil, straight electric, or heat pump.

each one can be different.

i think he means "jump"er. i would take all of the wires in the furnace and splice them together, you will need a big wire nut. turn off the power before you splice, you don't wanna blow the fuse.
