Is that run the thermostat and jump the furnace? And oh yea, barefeet or sneakers?

Sometimes yah have to pole vault, those older ones were too high to hurdle
The way we build has a greater impact on our comfort, energy consumption and IAQ than any HVAC system we install.

i think he means "jump"er. i would take all of the wires in the furnace and splice them together, you will need a big wire nut. turn off the power before you splice, you don't wanna blow the fuse.

Now where did he say he was an HVAC tech?
He might be some other kind of tech.
Maybe some kind of computer tech, or surgical tech, or fast food tech.
See, there you go.
