    Hello:

A bit surprised on the quote by the Installer for a 10 yr P&L extended warranty for a new Trane Gas Hot Air furnace

(residential; the 80% model, 120 K, 2 stage, with var. speed blower) Model No. TUD 120 R 9V5K

Does $XXX sound in the ball park for a 10 yr P&L for this type of unit ?

    Thanks,
    B.

Sorry for the edit but we don't discuss another contractor's price. Only way to know for sure is ask another local dealer.

    Pricing questions aren't allowed here.

That said, the Factory 10 Year P&L,is worth it ,for peace of mind, and repair costs are continuing to rise.

I agree with Dash, it's a peace of mind knowing you are taken cared of for the next 10 years.
