Build up system with undersized condenser coil
I have a one year old Frankenstein build up system with an undersized condenser coil. Does anyone know how I would possibly determine how many BTU's of additional condenser coil are required? And no, there is no make or model of the existing coils. All I can say is there are two 40 tons Copeland’s running with 404a.

US coil has a design cd they can mail to you. Toy around with it~ area, ckts, passes, fpi, and you should have a better handle on things.
Gather you have ruled out assembly, direction and piping errors.
No sub cooling?

Undersized Condenser coil
The sub-cooling is good under normal ambient conditions but it drops when the outdoor air temp gets around 100 deg. I'm going to check it for non-condensable tomorrow just to rule it out. The condenser coil is right next to the compressors but I'll give the piping a check up.
