    He called it "negligent discharge". I'd be more inclined to call it "ignorant discharge".

    Of course when I was in my early 20s I did about the same thing with a revolver.

    Hit right next to my Left foot. It stung but didnt even penetrate or nick the shoe leather.

    When I use to try and do fast draws, I used a single action so I wouldn't shoot my foot off.
